HUGE AUSTRALIAN STEEL TRUST
NOMINAL CAPITAL OF £5,000,000.
United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. .Received Thursday, 0.50 p.m. SYDNEY, May 17. A huge iron and steel merger embracing Hoskings Iron and Steel Company, Lithgow, Port Kembla, and other parts of Australia with the Australian business of Dorman Long and Company Limited (with the exception of the Sydney Harbour bridge contract) and Baldwins Ltd., and Howard Smith Ltd. has been completed. The new company will be known as Australian Iron and Steel Ltd., with a nomiinal capital of £5,000,000.
