Tho Football and. Hockey Clubs held another of their popular dances on Wednesday evening. The hall was prettily decorated for the occasion with coloured streamers and Japanese lanterns, .the stage being arranged with greenery and flowers. A ladies’ committee attended to the supper arrangements, which were all that could bo desired. Music by a professional orchestra also added to the evening’s enjoyment. The committee spared no pains to make the gathering a success, the large attendance being a tribute to the popularity of the dances. Mr. K. Olevcly fulfilled the duties of M.C. Mr. Patterson, on the staff of the Power Board, has been transferred to Shannon. Mr. W. Salmon is away on his annua! •leave.
