At a meeting of the United Purebred Dairy Cattle Breeders’ Association of New South Wales recently, it Was (stated the “Live Stock Journal") recommended that the system of judging dairy stock at the next Sydney Royal Show be amended to allow all cows in milk, whether in such classes or groups, to be judged first, also that the final milking be done at 6.30 on ,tho morning qf judging. day. It was considered that if these two. amendments wore adopted, great relief would bo given to those • cows that have to . hold their mijk/.from five o’clock in' the'-Afternoon to well' on in the afternoon • of' judging day.
