ANNUAL PICNIC. The annual excursion of All Saints' Sunday School was held at Ashhurst on Saturday, 1 when, the weather, although not up to the standard .of previous days in the week, was fine, and sufficiently summer-like to enable an enjoyable day. to be spent. The children from St. Peter’s (Terrace End) Sunday School joined the town six or seven hundred children, parents and friendg made the trip. After lunch—always an enjoyable feature of a picAic—races for the kindergarten, girls and boys were staged, and after tea, another pleasant item of the days outing, the party left and arrived back. in Palmerston North at about 7 p.m. The whole excursion was admirably organised by Rev.
