A.V.MAL, MEETING. The annual meeting of tho Feilding Amateur Athletic Club was hold oi! Wednesday evening, the president, Mr. H. Scotncy presiding. The chairman, in reviewing the annual report (already published), considered that the past season had been most successful. The election of officers resulted:—• President. Mr. 11. Kcotney; vice-presi-dent, Mr. W. Sowerby; secretary, Mr. J. Hosoman; committee, Messrs. A. Smith, It. Parsonage, F. Bray. M. Wildhore, W. Sowerby, W. Wilton, 11. Scotney, and O. Scotnoy: handicappers, Mr. 11. Wilton and another; starter, Mr. H. Parsonage. Mr. J. 10. Barltrop was accorded a

vote of thanks for his past services as

auditor, and Mr. A. H. Marshall for the donation of a gun for starting purposes. It was recommended to the. incoming committee, that, subject lo the approval of the Kowhai Park Committee, the grounds bo surveyed and marked.
