REFORM LEAGUE
A meeting: of the Palmerston North branch of the Reform League was held at Hr W. McKenzie's rooms last night, when Mr A. E. Bennett presided over a large attendance of members. The honorary Secretary submitted a balance sheet which was duly adopted . Hearty -votes of thanks were passed to the many owners of motor cars •or their assistance, to the Terrace End and various country committees, to the matron and nurses of the public hospital for their kind attention to patients in enabling them to record their rotes, and the chairman and hon. secretary. ]i; was decided to hold a "rally” at a later date, and the meeting concluded with cheers for the Member, Mr J. A. Nash, the chairman of the local branch of the League, Hr A E. Bennett, the lion, secretary, Mr W. McKenzie and for Miss Gwen McKenzie,. who rendered great assistance in the campaign
