A QUIET LIFE

Prescribed For Serbian Prince

CONTINUED PLOTS TO GAIN THRONE.

[By Electric Cable —Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.]

(Received Monday, 7.10 p.m.) BELGRADE, May 3

The Council o£ State announces it is necessary that Prince George should lead a quieter life, and has requested the King to place him under medical guidance. This means Prince George's removal to an isolated place, where he will be unable to continue his plots to gain the throne.

(Prince George, elder son of the late King Peter Karageorgevitch of Serbia, was compelled to renounce his. claint to succession in favour of his brother, now King Alexander of Jugo-Slavla, on account of his wild escapades. Stories told of some of these suggest that the young man is not entirely responsible for his acts).
