FAMOUS MAORI CLAIM.
AGAINST STATE PURCHASING. fPer Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 28. Several hundred Maoris will be assembling at Kaiapoi during the next few weeks in connection with the hearing by the Native Land Court of the famous Ngaitahu claim for £350,000 against the State, as the result of the purchase of South Island lauds from the Maoris. The case opens on December 19.
