FIRES AT MELBOURNE
[By Electric Cable —Copyright.] [Aust, and N.Z. Cable Association.} MELBOURNE, April 1. A fire in the Flinders Street extension free stores caused damage to the extent of over £IOO,OOO. Firemen had many narrow escapes. A fire in the United Artists’ film store also caused many thousands of pounds worth of damage.
