“IN THE AIR."
CHANGE OF FEHjDING SALE DAY? At last evening’s meeting of the Pelleting Chamber of Commerce, a brief reference was made to the recent alteration in the sale day, when the auctioneers held the sale on a Thursday, instead f on the usual'Friday, on the occasion of the Bulls tace3_ The meeting was by no means enthusiastic in discussing the subject, and Mr John Cobbe said he did not think it was a matter for the Chamber.
Mr A. J. Kellow suggested that the Chamber might like to express an opinion as to which was the better day Thursday or Friday, and mentioned, by the way, that a change was ‘‘in the air.” However, the Chamber did not pursue the matter, and Mr Cobbe again expressed the* opinion that “it was a dangerous thing to interfere.”
