SECRET MOBILISATION, REFORMERS ON THE WARPATH, Activity in political circles has not escaped notice during the past week. Co-incident with the announcement of a country campaign by the Liberal Party, there has been a ceaseless going and coming of the Reform rank and file to the Star Chamber, Molesworth Street. • What does it portend ? The Singapore Base, as is wellknown, is a pet scheme of Mr Massey, but New Zealand is hardly of sufficient importance to force a reconsideration of the British Government’s abandonment decision.
