OROUA LODGE OF DRUIDS.
40TH ANNIVERSARY. The Oroua Lodge of Druids, No. 5, celebrated its 40th anniversary by a smoke concert in the Oddfellows’ Hall last night, A.D. Bro. Elsinore presid ing. There was a good attendance, and ■ the function proved very enjoyable. The following was the toast list: “ The King,” proposed by A.D. Bro. Elsmore; “ Grand Lodge of N.1.N.Z.,” proposed by P.A. Bro. Cooksley, responded to by P.D.P. F. Pycroft; “ Kindred Societies and Visitors,” proposed by P.D.P. Bro. F. Pycroft, and replied to by representatives of the Oddfellows. Foresters, Rechabites, and H.A.C.B.S. Lodges; “ Oroua Lodge of Druids, No. 5,” proposed by P.D.P. Bro. Mansfield, ’Makino Lodge, Feilding, and responded to by A.D. Bro. Elsmoro; “ Medical Officers,” proposed by Secretary Bro. Mewett; “ U.F.S. Dispensary,” proposed by P.A. Bro. Rennett, replied to by Bros. Sharman, Northey, F. Pycroft and Rosanoski; “The Ladies" and “Musicians.” Musical Items were supplied by Messrs. Guy, Robb, W. Young, Mansfield, Jeffries and T. Mathie. The accompamments were played by Mr. Frank Miller.
