ILL BLACKS.
ENGLISH TOUR PROPOSAL. SEVERAL POINTS REMAIN ■UNSETTLED. • . REPLY TO DOMINION SUGGESTIONS. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Last Night. The New Zealand Rugby Union met to-night to discuss the All Blacks English tour. A cablegram was received from the English Union in reply to suggestions of the New Zealand Union regarding the terms. The only matter still to be finally settled is the number of matches. There aro several matters still in course of negotiation, among them the number of matches to be played and the intervals between the tests.
The New Zealand Union has suggested a daily allowance of 3/- for players, but the English Union has disallowed this. It will, however, bear all Incidental expenses on the tour. New Zealand asked for two managers and England has agreed to one only.

The "Athletic News" state's that! it Is understood that the Rugby League team will play sixteen matches. In Australia and twelve in New Zealand, and will return to England late In September.
