270 SAILORS DROWNED. [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Thursday 8.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 2. Two hundred and seventy British sailors have been drowned off the Scotch coast. Later. The sailors drowned off the Scotch coast were on leave, aboard the yacht lolaine. The yacht struck a rock off Storow r ay. Most of the survivors were injured in attempting to reach the shore. All the officers and crew were lost.
