NEW GERMAN CABINET.
A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAMME. (Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Thursday, 8.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 1. The United Press Berlin correspondent says: The new German Government consists of Ebert as Chancellor and Minister of the Interior, Scheidermann as Foreign Minister, Noske Minister of the Army and Navy. Landsberg, Minister of Finance, Wessel, Minister of Social Affairs. The Government has announced the following policies; To prepare for the National Assembly; to provide food; to socialise public institutions, seize war profits, provide universal employment, promote national defence; disarm unauthorised persons; to bring about a quick and favourable peace; to reform German diplomacy abroad.
