GERMAN LEADER’S VIEWS. [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Thursday, 8.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 1. The United Press Berlin correspondent has interviewed Ebert, who said that Germany will advocate the international abolition of compulsory military service, but if France continues to keep a strong standing army, Germany will favour the adoption of the Swiss system of limited service.
