Recently a crowd watching the recapture of a- chimpanzee wildly scattered when the animal made a forward movement, and a woman in the crowd dropped dead. The jury awarded deceased's husband £450 damages against the owners of the chimpanzee on the ground that death was the result of negligence and want of care in keeping the animal.
