GERMANY'S BOASTED ORGANISATION. BRITISH SUPERIOR. Received 9.10 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 26. The Press Bureau says the Newcastle workers deputation who visited the West front conversed with officers and men in the trenches and learned the necessity for a more adequate supply of ammunition, the fighters urging those at home to drop their differences so as to ensure the utmost output reasonable. The officers emphatically expressed the opinion that the British man for man are superior and the'y deprecated the constant tributes to German organisation. The British accomplishments in organisation were remarkable, notably the convalescent camp in which since December 10,000 have recovered and reentered the trenches. The secret of this success was the utilisation of the abilities of the patients, all trades being represented. Plumbing, tailoring, cooking, renovating and dentistry were all done by convalescents with the result that the men after a fortnight's rest and recreation were rehabilitated. The deputation reports: "We were impressed by the goodwill between the officers and the men and their cheerful confidence in the final result. Whatever were the events in the past a splendid organisation exists to-day. The fighters have a frightfully trying time in trench-work, and only ask that we be loyal to them and supply shells in ever-increasing quantities without which success is impossible." The deputation deplored the unwarranted reports of the slacking in British factories and say it is bad policy to spread such reports to depress the brave fighters who have already more than enough to bear. A WAR COMMITTEE. NEW YORK, Sept. 27. The Daily Chronicle states that Mr Mr Asquith's new committee is entrusted with supervision of the general conduct of the war and it adds that 'the committee implies that the war will be waged on our part with more vigour.
