STOCK REPORT. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—At Hirnatangi on Monday we had a heavy yarding of sheep and cattle, and have to report a brisk sale and a good clearance. Quotations: —Sheep —Cull lambs, 3s 3d; medium lamb?, 8s fid to 8s 7d; good lambs, 10s 2d; aged ewes, 5s 7d; store ewes, 8s 7d to 9s; fat ewes, 13s 6d. Cattle— Weaners, small, 225; weaner heifers, good, 41s 6d; weaner steers, good, 445; store cows, 41s to 57s 6d; forward cows, 63s to 78s; fat cows, £6; cows in calf, £5 to £5 10s; springing cows, £8 os to £11; heifers in calf, good, £7 ss; heifers in calf, 87s to 97s 6d; fat heifers, £5 ss; 2yr steers, 83s 6d to 87s; bulls, 72s 6d to 100s.
