BY AN AMERICAN. Press Asen—By Telegraph—Oopyrmht Washington, April 21. Senator Chamberlain has introduced a Bill asking for the abrogation of the Hay-Pauncefote and ClaytonBulwer treaties. If Britain intended to protest step by step against United States legislation, asserted Senator Chamberlain, the only course open to the United Stated was to annul basal legislation. The interests protesting were really the Canadian railroads. If Anglo maniacs are continually to plead the British cause against the United States, it is time they were given something to think about.
