Alleatoa, Asiitmrto*, 23rd March, 1511. Ms. E. G. Lank, Chemist, Oamaru. Dear Sir. It gives me great pleasure to send you this letter, to tell you how much I appreciate your Medoiine. Having all my household duties to attend to, I found that my hands got into a frightful state, in fact they were so bad that I could not bear to even thread a needle. I tried every cream and ointment that I heard of, and also had different receipts made up, but they were of no use. I noticed your advertisement in the "Guardian," so I asked my husband to see if Mr Totty had it in stock. Yes; he brought me a bottle home to try, and, really, after the first rubbing, my hands" felt lovely, for they were then all chaps, hard and drawn. By the time I was finished the bottle my hands were soft and free from all dirt and cracks. My husband was astonished to set- the difference. [ really could not do without it. .-..metimes the chemist is out of it, and he brings forward another article which is very good. But I t,ell him there is nothing as good as «' Lane's JVk-Joline," and I am willing to wait until he gets it in. I tell all my friends about it, and they are surprised to find it so good, it is with pleasure that [ _'ive vou permission to make use of my letter. I am so well pleased ... fth " Lane's Medoiine," that the least I can do is to tell others about it. Those who have their household duties to attend to, and yet wish to possess nice hands, ! thouhl never be without it. | Yours faithfully, Mas. Ivob V. Matthews.
