MESSAGE OF THANKS. A usoriation.—By Telegraph. Christchurch, Last Night. To-day the Hon. W. F. Massey, Prime Minister, received the following letter from Lieut. H. Pennell, master of the Terra Nova: — "Dear Sir.—l have to express the sincere appreciation and gratitude of the whole expedition for the great help and consideration shown by every Government Department to us, aud, in fact, by the whole of N. Z. This help has been rendered in every possible way. and has been of enormous value. We all feel that N. Z. has accepted the expedition as its own, and we leave these hospitable shores with very great regret. "
