Westport, Yesterday. Almost a state of mutiny has reigned lately on board the s.s. Ferndeno now loading^coal at Westport for Hongkong, and to-day several cases for assaulting officers and engineers of the ship were heard at the Magistrate's Court. James Harkin, a fireman, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment in Hokifcika. gaol, and John Johnsen and Felix Len. non, also firemen, each to. on.c month's imprisonment. tbfi fourth, engineer, Fentyvnap,, whp has not recovered from a serious asaauh on January 3rd, was again brutally assaulted as he was coming off the ship, and, at the captain's request two special constables have been Fworn in to accompany the vessel as fayas Wellington, where she QomnlefcesJ loading for Hongkong
