Taranaki v. Manawatu.
■Much interest is being taken in the match to be played this afternoon between the representatives of Taranald and Manawatu, and if the weather holds fine, the attendance will probably constitute a record. The teams are as follows: —
Tarannki (amber and black) —Fullback, Woods; three-quarters, Clark, Ulynott, Bourke ; five-eighth, Allen ; half, Hunter; wings, Guy and Hamblyn; forwards, Glasgow, Philipps, Piharni, Glenn, Douglas, McDonald, McKay. The team is described as being dashing in the forwaras and safe in the backs.
Manawatu (green and white). —Fullback, Slcelley; three-quarters, Furrie, Tyrell, Hammer; five-eighth, Cootes; half, Hewitt; wings, Boon and Heriburn; forwards, Horgan, Campbell, Smith, Newth, Bush, Lyall, Galloway.
All Manawatu players must wear the rep. jerseys and white pants.
