Moslem irritation towards the Powers is shown by the assault on a liussian posL'vm at Constantinople and an insult which was offered to the Italian Consul at Monastir.
The Porte declares that the insurgents have destroyed five villages in tho Kirkilissi district and have massacred the inhabitants.
The insurgents captured the village of Vasaliko and killed the garrison of fifty and about one hundred inhabitants. Th«y afterwards burnt two Greek villages near India.-
One hundred and eighty thousand troops are mobilised in Macedonia.
The Porte has instituted a criminal court at Monastir, the bench consisting of four Turks, two Greeks, and one Albanian.
Two captured insurgents and Sarafoff, one of the leaders of the Macedonian committee, have escaped to the rnountaini.
