(Press Association-—Copyright!. Received August 25, 10.23 p.m. Sydney. Last Night. At Randwick Mr G. G. Stead's pair put in a sterling performance. -
Orloff ran a mile in lmin 45sec. Cruciform traversed five furlongs in lmm 6sec, a mile in lmin 45* sec, a mile and a quarter in 2min 12sec, while the last mile and a distance was covered in Imm4sßec, which may be regarded as a record. . ; . Another record was put up by Fambut who compassed nine furlongs on the tan in lmiQ 58sec. ■ "■■
