INFECTIOUS DISEASES
Cases of infectious diseases notified in the Wellington-Hawke's Bay health district, which includes Palmerston North, during the week ended at noon today show that scarlet fever has remained at a figure corresponding with that of the previous week, 16 cases being recorded. Of the total of 26 cases, other diseases were as follow: Pulmonary tuberculosis, 6 (4 deaths') ; diphtheria, 2; malaria, .1; cerebrospinal meningitis, 1.
