NEW PEACE STRIKES

GRAFT IN HIGH PLACES. (Rec. 12 noon.) LONDON, Sept. 2. Strikes intended as a demonstration for peace have again broken out in Rome, Turin, and Milan, says the Algiers radio. The Rome radio announced that a judicial committee investigating tho acquisition of large properties during the Fascist regime has decided to confiscate the' properties of Countess Edda Ciano (wife of the former Foreign Minister and a daughter of Mussolini), Farinacci (former secretary of the Fascist Party), Bottai (former Education Minister), and other high Fascist leaders.
