SHIPPING HOLD-UP
WALES SEAMEN. (Rec. 1.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 3. More than 200 seamen at a New South Wales port, have decided not to take their ships to sea until their demand for the dismissal of a chief steward was granted. The Maritime Industry Commission has ordered the ships to sea and warned the union officials that severe penalties have been prescribed for taking part in an unlawful stoppage. A union official said the dispute had been called because of the inadequate quality and quantity of the food on a ship. ; ' •' : '
