LITTLE THEATRE
At a recent meeting of the Littlo Theatre Society it was' announced that the following awards had now been received for the next inter-house drama festival: The Lorna Bristow silver rose bowl; the W. G. Black silver cup, and silver stars for tho individual character portrayals from Mr J. C. Young. A threeact major production has been cast and is being rcheaifed for staging in the Opera House in aid of patriotic funds in October. Three one-act new, entertaining plays arc being prepared for the first week in November. These plays have just been released by the -printers an<J will be of great, interest to all drama lbvers. A "full length children's operetta for the junior section has been obtained, and as 100 performers will bo required it is proposed to intimate by advertisement the place and time of rehearsals. A report was received that the Little Theatre entertainers' [ new revue was accorded an ovation at its first presentation at a military camp, the officer stating it was tho brightest and daintiest production that had ever been ab the camp. The first reading of a three-act play is to take place at Mr H. G. Bagnail's residonce next week.
