SCHOOL CONCERT

The final presentation of tho Palmerston North Intermediate School concert was given last evening, when the Opera House was filled and a number of people could not be admitted. The concert was promoted by tho Home and School Association and tho money raised will bo employed in supplying general school improvements. Additional numbers presented were dramatised versions of the work done by the dre-smakiiig and sclftlcfenco clubs, and ball drill, each item showing the purpose and effect of modern education. Over 300 pupils took part in the programme. At the conclusion of the conrert, Mr 11. A. Seifert (president of the association, congratulated the headmaster (Mr J. O'. Whibley) and staff and the pupils on their success and thanked tho public for their support.
