ATTACKS REPULSED

NAZIS HELD IN RUSSIA FLARE-UP a¥sTALINGRAD LONDON, Nov. 12. , The Russians claim to have successfully repulsed the enemy in the Caucasus, at Nalchik and in the Tuapse area, inflicting considerable losses. The Germans admit heavy Russian attacks on

the Georgian Road, where fighting is taking place in a blizzard. To-night’s Soviet communique says that fighting has been renewed at Stalingrad. The Germans have brought up reinforcements and, at a tremendous cost, have succeeded in driving a wedge 150 yards deep into the Russian defences at one point. In the other sectors the position is unchanged.
