Minutes count when you wash blankets —long washing means a shrunken, matted blanket. Have the water cool (about 90 to 100°F.) Pour in enough Rinso to make about twice as much lather as you usually have —blankets are demons (or lather and absorb it in no time. 2. Keep the blanket turning over and over in the water. You won't need to rub when you use Rinso because Rinso's extra rich suds clean gently but none the less thoroughly. (If the blanket is very soiled, repeat in a second water.) 3. When rinsing, make sure that the water is at the same temperature throughout. Fold your blanket into even sections before passing it through the wringer which should be adjusted so it won’t give too much pressure on the woollen fibres. Put the blanket through the wringer after each rinse—twice after the last one. 4. Shake the blanket before hanging out to dry in the shade. Avoid direct sunshine. Throw it evenly over the line, using two lines is even better. If it is a striped blanket hang it vertically so that if any colour wants tp run, it runs down the stripe. When dry, brush it with a soft clean brush and iron the silk bindings with a warm iron. This simple. Quick method will keep your blankets warm and new looking, yf jr after year. tjsi.—
