REPERTORY PRODUCTION.

Another large and appreciative audience was present at the Empire Hall last evening for the final presentation of the Manawatu Repertory Society’s production “Children to Bless You.” Mr M. H. Oram, in congratulating the cast on its fine work, said that much

credit behind the scenes in regard to tlie furnishings was due to Dlr F. Bendall, who had acted as stage manager. Mention of the excellent leadership of Dir F. Cousins, the producer, was also made by Dlr Oram, who said that he always showed great enthusiasm in the society’s productions. The work of the assistant-producer, Mrs Craven, was also praised. Dlr Oram added that much pleasure was attached to Repertory productions as well as hard work., and there was plenty of scope in tlm producing of plays for any person who wished to join the society. Each member of the cast received a floral tribute. At the conclusion of the production the cast, the producer and his assistant were entertained at supper and Dlrs N. A.
