Somerset spoke on tho work of Mr llcwi Alley in China, tho following resolution was carried : —“That the FeildLng Civic Club offers its felicitations to Mr Rowi Alley _ and expresses its appreciation of his initiative and success in his practical plan towards tho regeneration of China under its period of pressure against an invading foe.” A. and P.
