MRS HITLER HATES NAZIS.
NEAV YORK, June 20. Afrs Bridget Elizabeth Hitler. Irish wife of Hitler’s half-brother, Alois, is a volunteer worker with the British War Relief Committee in New York. Mrs Hitler is violently anti-Nazi. “Hanging, or the electric chair, would be too good for Adolf Hitler,” she declares. “Death by slow torture would he more just.” Alois Hitler was a waiter in Dublin when Bridget Elizabeth Dowling married him in 1910.
They had a sou, William Patrick Hitler, but Alois deserted his wife and child to go hack to Germany. Alois Hitler runs a prosperous Berlin cafe—discreetly, under his first name. His son went to Germany in 10.’1.’l and applied for work. Uncle Adolf received him coldly; offered him a poor job. which he refused. In 1939 Patrick Hitler received hints to get out of Germany. He took his mother to the 1 United States. He is now lecturing in Canada on conditions iu Germany.
