UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE
CANADIAN SCHEAIE. (Rec. 9.10 a.in.) OTTAWA, Alay 16. The Minister of Labour (Air AlcLarty) announced that the unemployment insurance scheme will operate as from July 1. Three million Canadian workers will contribute 23 million dollars io the Federal Government, and 11 million dollars annually in benefits will be paid.
