■ Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 13. The annual conference of the Federation of Master Printers of New Zealand, presided over by Mr B. C. Jacolvs, Auckland, concluded with his presidential address. Mr Jacobs referred to difficulties confronting the industry through the reduced volume of basic materials which resulted from import control measures. The officers for the ensuing year are: —President, Mr B. C. Jacobs (Auckland) ; vice-president, Mr H. W. Osborn (Wellington); members of council, Messrs E. Aldridge, W. A. Bascani, H. Coni!, A. Dennison, T. Somerville, Basil C. H. Whitcdmbe, B. E. H. Whitcombe and H. L. Young.
