FEILDING STOCK SALE
MORE CATTLE YARDED. For the Fcilding stock sale to-day * larger yarding of station store cattlo came to hand, including rising 2 and 3-yr steers. There was a medium offering of beef both station and ox-dairy lines. The boner and dairy cattle entries were light. In the fat sheep pens there was a moderate offering of mutton, while the store sheep section » comprised a yarding of 10,000 ewes and lambs. There were one or two good pens of 2-th ewes, but in the main the quality of tire store sheep was mediocre. Iho lambs included several pons of good b.f. s. Store sheep.—Wether lambs, 183 Awaworo 11s, 222 do 9s 6d, 200 do, 8s 7d, 409 do (b.f.) 14s 6d; 100 k. Kilgour 10s 6d. Other prices: 269 at 12s 4d; ewe lambs, 78 Smith (Porirua) 15s 3d. Other prices: 40 at 18s 9d; wethers, 83 2-tlr 19». Fat sheep.—Lambs, 12s lOd, 15s 4d, 15s lOd, 17s 4d, 17s 9d.' 21s Id, 21s 3d; wethers, 19s lOd, 20s - 7d, 20s lOd, 21s 7d, 22s Id, 22s lOd, 23s 4d, 23s lOd; ewes, 6s lOd, 7b 4d, 7s lOd, Bs, 8s Id, 8s 4d, 9s Id, 9s 4d, 22s 7d (maiden), 17s (2-th). Cattle.—Boner cows, 30s to £3 10s; weaner Jersey heifers, £3 19s; dairy heifers, r.w.b., £4 17s 6d, £8 10s, £9 10s; station P.A.. steers, £7 12s, £8 10s; do., bullocks, £8 17s 6J.
