CHINESE PAPER’S VIEW.

(Rec. 12 noon) CHUNGKING, Sept.>2s. The recent Axis conference in-Rome revealed the increasing strength of Britain and also indicated the spreading of the European War, according to the influential Chinese daily, Takung Pao. “Germany is suffering a setback in the war of Britain and therefore is anxious to extend the area of the war and also strengthen the Axis. On the other hand as a result of the closer Anglo-Arfierican co-operation the strength of Britain daily is increasing,” the paper says.
