CRUEL BOMBING RAID.

ITALIANS IN THE SUDAN. (British Official AVirolese.) Received August 26, 11.10 a.in. ■ RUGBY, Aug. 25. A Cairo communique states: Enemy aircraft have carried out indiscriminate bombing of the town of Omdurman. Three Sudanese children were, killed and . six other persons wounded. There is nothing to report on the other fronts. A Rome communique states: “An Italian formation raided the airport at Malta. A violent air battle followed in which four British fighters were' shot down. AA’e lost one plane. Two British destroyers which started shelling Bardia (Cyrenaica) at night were chased off by Italian bombers. Other bombers destroyed three British armoured cars between Sidi Barrani (Egypt) and the Cyrenaica bordei. An enemy raid against Tobruk (Cyrenaica) caused slight damage, and five persons were wounded. Italian formations bombed AVajir and Garizzo (in Kenya), and positions on a Daga River post in the Lower Sudan.”
