AMATEUR CYCLING.
The Palmerston North amateur cyclists held a 20-mile race on Saturday, thp course taken being over the Awahuri-Kopane circuit. Although there was a slight head wind home, the conditions were‘ideal for the seven riders who faced the starter. The result was: R. Warner (lOiuin), lhr Omin 4sec, 1; H. Grahamc (lOmin), lhr Omin 5 sec, 2; G. Little (7min), lhr Omin feec. 3; 0. Campbell (3£mm), 57min 7sec, 4. Fastest time: 0. Campbell (34inin)j 57min 7sec; M. McCardle (2jmin.), 57min. 43sec.
