EffilTt are reported dead in North Luzon as a result of a typhoon on Mondav. The Japanese vessel Nanyu Maru, "with 15 passengers aboard, sank while proceeding to Formosa. All were saved. Communication is still severed with Cagayan (in North-East Luzon), where, it Is believed, the casualties ■were heavy.
