CLEARING SALE.
Abraham and Williams,. lAd. report holding a successful sale on behalf of Messrs j. T. and W. M. Gibson, Kiwitea, on Thursday last. The whole of the herd, ow ing to the very dry autumn experienced in° the Kiwitea district, were rather low in condition, and this fact along with the butterfat records not being of the best due to the dry weather, did not tend to help the sale. Nevertheless, the quality and type throughout of the herd were outstanding, and hiking everything into consideration the sale can be termed quite satisfactory. Quotations: Pedigree cows, Bgns, Bjgns, 9gns, lOgns. 12gns; grade cows, £5, £6, £7, £B. £8 10s £9, £9 10s, £lO £lO 10s. £ll, £ll 10s, £l2, £l2 10s, £l3’ £l4, £l4 10s, £ls. to £l6; pedigree heifers (August calvers), £8 Bs, £9 9s, £lO 10s, to £l6.
