HOKOWHITU SCHOOL BALL.
The annual fancy dress ball of tho Hokowhitu School will be held to-morrow in t-lio A. and P. Hall at the Showgrounds and the teachers and combined committees have worked to make this tho . best ball yet staged. A special feature will. be . a gavotte presented by the senior girls, instructed by Miss H. Wapp, and this is even more elaborate than tho minuet presented last year, and which proved such an outstanding success. There will be a band of five players for dancing, which will bo half modern and half old-time, and the ladies’ committee will provide a bountiful supper. The prices of admission arc very moderate and all who attend are assured of a good floor, good music, good supper, and a good time.
