CROSSING ACCIDENT.

FOUR INJURED AT LONG BURN. Four persons were injured just after mid-day to-day at the Longourn railway crossing, when the car in which they were travelling, an old open touring* model, was struck by the Welling-ton-Napier express. They are:— MR AND AIRS AY. GOSLING, of Aokautere. MRS B. MITCHELL and her daughter. Air Gosling is a director of the Kairanga Dairy Company, and A 1 x Alitcliell is a daughter of Ah' and Airs Gosling. The ear was proceeding from Palmerston North, and the engine of the train struck the front of it as the car was following another one across the line. All four were admitted to hospital. The extent of their injuries was not known when this edition went to press.
