FRANCE AND BELGIUM. POLICE DISCOVERY. THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received June J2, 10.20 a.in. LONDON, June 11. The Daily Telegraph’s Paris correspondent says that some police and Customs officers have discovered an electrically lit cemented tunnel with an underground railway leading from the Chateau Mont de Peruwels, between Mons and Valenciennes, into a house in Belgian territory. A quantity of tobacco and other contraband, as well as secret defence documents, were found. Gun-running is suspected. The police arrested the inmates ol the chateau, a Frenchman, Itogcr Mitaine, and two women, Carniencits Olivares and Violottc Vaniesbroeck.
