WORLD TENSION.
SETTLED ENT OF PROBLEMS. FUEHRER'S REPORTED PLAN. PARIS', June 10. Diplomatic circles were advised this morning from Berlin that Herr Hitler was planning to make a definite proposition to Britain, France and the United States for the settlement of the problems which were causing world tension. The plan is believed to be an economic reshuffle to secure raw materials for the Reich. Her Hitler’s plan is being announced early in July, when it is expected it will he outlined in a speech at the launching of a new battleship. It is understood that Lord Halifax’s speech paved the way for this latest development, though a further Berlin report says it is stated in high quarters that as far as is known the Fuehrer has no such scheme in mind. A Berlin mesnsgs says that Admiral Bander (Chief of the Naval Stall"), speaking at Stuttgart, announced that the German navy was being built for service in foreign as well as home waters.
