INCREASED SALES. LARGER QUANTITY EXPORTED. Substantial increases in tbc quantities of wool sold and exported during t.lte 11 months of the 1938-39 wool season to May 28 are shown in the returns compiled by Dalgctv and Co., Ltd. Offerings of wool during the 11 months totalled 735.797 bales, of which 714.881 hales, or more than 97 per cent., were sold, as against 711,714 bales olfered and 634.004 hales sold during the corresponding period of the 1937-38 season. This season's offerings for the 11 months showed an increase of 24,083 bales, while the sales increased by 80.877 bales.
