Pearce gave a reading entitled “Keonomie Position of New Zealand Women.” ’I his subject was diseus-ed and memlieis were very interested. A recitation ui.-s given hy Airs Keith. The competition for the eggle.-s cake was ivon hv .Mrs I. D. Stoke,. 1, Alts A. la. Shamicn 2, and Airs I’. Shannon 3; and for the he-r flower from the garden.
